At 1pm (US Eastern Time) on 10th November 2010, 200 book bloggers will simultaneously publish reviews of books published on recycled or FSC-certified paper (that’s the Forest Stewardship Council if you were wondering).
The Green Books Campaign was launched in 2009 by Eco-Libris, a company that works to offset the environmental impact of the publishing industry by planting trees. This year the number of participating bloggers has doubled with an exciting amount of support being shown for this initiative to promote awareness of the availability of ‘green’ books.
I am very pleased to be included in the list of bloggers taking part in this campaign. Because of time differences, my review of Ranger in Danger #4: Rapscallion’s Revenge will be published on Thursday 11th November at 4am (Australian EST). (Got to wait for the rest of the world to catch up, since the sun rises for us Australians first 🙂 )
Make sure you check out the Green Books Campaign 2010 homepage and visit some of the other bloggers taking part in the green book blog fest.
