Yes, I know. I’m already signed up to far too many reading challenges (and doing quite a terrible job of keeping them up to date as well, I might add). But hear me out. I can do this one, really I can. Well, I’ll try.
To celebrate the Books Alive campaign running from August 26 to September 30, Book Thingo is running a Books Alive Reading Challenge. Participants simply need to read as many books from the Books Alive 50 Books You Can’t Put Down guide then post a list of all books completed on October 1. The challenge doesn’t start until September 7, which gives us time to track down a few titles to get started.
Meredith and I have already read a few of the books, so we will cheat and count those towards our total.
There are some variations on the standard challenge available. For full challenge instructions, the list of variations and to register your interest, visit Book Thingo.

I’m tossing up whether or not to cheat by including books I’ve already read but not reviewed. I suppose I mustn’t given that we’re hosting the challenge. Still, it’s tempting…
Thanks for taking up the challenge!

Crazy lady – this all comes back to your obsession with lists.
Oh the things I could tell the world about you…
OK – since I have read several of these already, I will play.
