There are so many great books out there and I want to read most of them. My memory is not what it used to be (and let’s face it, it really wasn’t all that good to start with), so I am going to keep a list here of books that I want to read. This is a work in progress – I’ll keep adding new titles as they come to my attention and will delete books from the list once I have read them.
Thanks to Rebecca from Lost in Books for the Wish List idea. You can find Rebecca’s list here. If I add a book that I have heard about in another book blog, I will include a link in brackets at the end. If you have your own reading wish list, feel free to add a link in the comments section.

Oh cool, Susan! You have several on there that are on my list, too. You also have some I have read.
I really liked A Thousand Splendid Suns and I watched The Kite Runner movie and liked it, so I am looking forward to reading that one.
I loved Life of Pi. Some people said the ending ruined it for them, but I think it was great.
I didn’t care for The Catcher in the Rye or Reading Lolita in Tehran. I thought the former was kind of overrated (perhaps because I read it as an adult?) and I think the latter it was the writing style and the fact it seemed to drag on to me. But, of course, people have had very different reactions than me to both, so of course read it for yourself and see! You may think they are great, too.
I think the book that I am most looking forward to reading that is on both our lists is The Cellist of Sarajevo.
I’m finding GoodReads very convenient for keeping track of books I want to read.
I’ve divided my to-read list into to-read (which is books I own or am committed to reading, such as for a book club) and to-find (I’m not happy with the name, but it is the list of books to look for at the bookstore, library, audio download site, wherever). I’ve started adding the link to the book review that convinces be to add a book to my list.
My lists are at

and

Thanks for sharing yours!
Are you there God? It’s Me, Margaret? was one of my favorite books growing up. I think Judy Blume is an amazing author of YA.
I just read the Cellist last month. It is an interesting read.
Enjoy the list!
Obvious bias aside, you should REALLY read LOATHING LOLA… I hear it’s made of awesome
