Reading Upside Down is a book and personal blog. I write about family, organisation and my efforts to declutter my life at my second blog, Living Upside Down.

I am happy to consider product and service reviews and giveaways that are relevant to my readers. For Reading Upside Down this would include books and book related products and services as well as products and services related to creativity and venues, events and activities in my local area (Newcastle, Australia). The PR and review opportunities at Living Upside Down can be found here.

The readership of this blog is primarily WAHMs and SAHMs. Reading Upside Down posts, reviews and giveaways are also promoted at the Reading Upside Down Facebook page and via Twitter (@ReadUpsideDown).

Book Review Policy

The books reviewed on Reading Upside Down come from a variety of sources including personal purchases, my local library and books received as advance review copies from publishers. The opinions expressed in the reviews are entirely my own and are not influenced in any way by the source of the books.

I have eclectic reading tastes and regularly read a variety of genres, including both fiction and non-fiction and picture books through to adult fiction. I do not generally read thrillers, true crime, novels with supernatural themes (including vampire fiction) or science fiction and will rarely consider writing reviews for books in these genres. I am particularly keen to review and promote Australian authors.

If you are a book publicist or author who thinks that your books might be suitable for review on Reading Upside Down, I would love to hear from you. You can contact me at susan@whelanflynn.com.
